CM Dhami inaugurated 168 crib centers in the state for the dependent children of registered construction workers

Dehradun: 168 crib centers for the dependent children of registered construction workers were opened by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He also gave 60 CSR-funded PCs to the Labor Department and Employees State Scheme Offices at the event held at the Chief Minister‘s Camp Office on Friday.

A truck delivering food, shoes, and tracksuits for 432 workers on different projects in the Kedarnath region was flagged off by the chief minister, according to an official release.

The Uttarakhand chief minister was quoted in the release as saying that the administration is always trying to improve worker welfare under the capable leadership and direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These initiatives are raising workers’ standards of living and elevating their social standing.

According to an official release, CM Dhami already granted Rs 66.12 crore for the development of roads and bridges in different assembly seats.

Within the Kaladhungi Assembly Constituency of the Nainital District, the approved amount includes Rs 12.45 crore for the construction of a 3.100 km canal from Chaufula Square to Kathghariya Square and an 8.200 km canal from Panchakki Square to Kamaluwaganja, for a total of 3.800 km.

Additionally, it includes Rs 10.86 crore for the DBM and BC to widen and improve the Lambarpur to Langha Motorway from one and a half lanes (5.50 meters) to two lanes (7.00 meters) in the Vikasnagar Assembly Constituency of Dehradun District, and Rs 3.46 crore for the improvement of the Kalsan Thantha Motorway to Banoli Sudarka in the Lohaghat Assembly Constituency.

According to the statement, the Chief Minister has approved Rs 5.98 crore for the hot mix DBM/BC improvement of Tanakpur’s internal roads in Champawat Assembly Constituency and Rs 9.58 crore for the Shaheed Shiromani Chilkoti (Gaudi-Kimatoli) motor road improvement project in Champawat Assembly Constituency of Champawat District.

A 55-meter expansion bridge over the Rispana River near Chuna Bhatta in the Dehradun-Raipur Road in Rajpur Road Assembly Constituency of Dehradun District has been sanctioned by the Chief Minister for Rs 5.84 million under the state project.

In the Rudrapur Assembly Constituency in Udham Singh Nagar District, he also granted Rs 2.2 crore for the rehabilitation and enlargement of the road from Lake to Chamunda Temple in the Transit Camp (the remaining portion of the major route from Shivnagar to Transit Camp).

Additionally, the CM authorized Rs 3.70 crore for the construction of the Fidogi-Dhanaulti motor road from Bilundi Bridge under the Jaunpur Development Block of the Dhanaulti Assembly Constituency of Tehri Garhwal District and Rs 2.82 crore for the reconstruction of connecting roads through hotmix in the center of the main market under the Rudrapur Block of the Rudrapur Assembly Constituency of Udham Singh Nagar District.

According to the announcement, the Chief Minister has authorized the expenditure of Rs 2.19 crore for the building of a 20-meter girder bridge on the Barotiwala-Ambari motor route.

Furthermore, Rs 4.00 lakh has been approved for the Kamal River Gunyatigaon motor road expansion under the Uttarkashi District’s Purola Assembly Constituency, and Rs 26.00 lakh has been approved for the construction of interlocking up to the Gunyatigaon Inter College Mandir Road sports ground under the Purola Block of the Purola Assembly Constituency.
