Madhya Pradesh: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Pachmatha Temple prepared a special Maha Thali with a giant 5,000 kg laddu
Jabalpur: In honour of Hanuman Jayanti, the Pachmatha temple in Jabalpur has prepared a spectacular Maha Thali that includes a huge 5,000 kg laddu and 56 traditional delicacies from all across India.
The Hanuman Mandir Seva Samiti and Mahila Mandal will host a lavish three-day event to commemorate its silver jubilee.

The concept of “unity in diversity”, which unites local preferences on a single holy dish, is embodied by the thali. Kashmiri dried fruit, Gujarati fafda-jalebi and dhokla, Uttar Pradesh layiya, Banarasi paan and lassi, Bel sharbat, and even Bihar’s famous litti-chokha are all available.
Jagadguru Raghav Devacharya told ANI, “Hanuman ji’s power serves as a reminder of our identity. We may comprehend and express our Hindu identity by remaining in touch with his (Hanuman Ji) spirit, just as he did when he discovered his mission while travelling with Lord Ram.
One of the devotees helping with the preparation, Shraddha, remarked, “This plate brings together dishes from every corner of the country”.” We have added dried fruits from Kashmir, while fafda, jalebi, and dhokla are from Gujarat. The famed paan, lassi, and bel sharbat of Banaras, the litti chokha of Bihar, and the layiya of Uttar Pradesh are all included in the thali. Everything has been lovingly prepared.
