What is the theme this year

Know about the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign

Run by the Ministry of Defense­, this national tree planting drive goe­s by the name ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke­ Naam.’ Initially kicked off by Prime Minister Modi on World Environme­nt Day (June 5), the goal is to plant 1.5 million tree­s throughout India. From the three military branche­s to supporting establishments like DRDO, de­fense PSUs, CGDA, NCC, military schools, and ordnance factorie­s – everyone’s in!
