Akshay Kumar asked his co-stars to visit his Martial Arts Academy in Surat, where Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal accompanied him. Everyone’s favorite trio are the three actors who costarred in the Priyadarshan-directed Hera Pheri franchise and the Neeraj Vora-directed second one.

In the meanwhile, director Priyadarshan revealed the concept for their next film and stated that he and Akshay Kumar will be working together again. With their comedic successes Hera Pheri (2000), Bhagam Bhag (2006), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and De Dana Dan (2009), the actor-director team has made box office history. Priyadarshan stated that he and Akshay are working together again on a project after a 15-year break in an interview with Hindustan Times.

The filmmaker, who received a National Award, has completed his documentary series on the history of the Ram Mandir. “My most important film, on which I am starting work, is the one with Akshay, produced by Ekta Kapoor,” the filmmaker remarked in reference to his feature with Kumar. It is a humorous horror-fantasy. Working with Akshay is always a joy.

He manages the emotions so effectively that things have always worked out beautifully with him. Regarding if it would be similar to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, he said, “That was a psychological thriller, but this one will be fantasy, in the backdrop of magic, the oldest superstition of India.”
