CM Mohan Yadav paid tribute to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Ambedkar House in London on Constitution Day of India today

On Tuesday, India’s Constitution Day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav honored Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Ambedkar House in London.

The goal of CM Yadav’s six-day trip to the UK and Germany is to increase Madhya Pradesh’s investment prospects by meeting with corporate executives, government officials, and industrialists in both nations.

“I recall the amazing constitution that Babasaheb Ambedkar gave us, and I pay my humble homage to him. In addition to commemorating Constitution Day, everyone is honoring Dr. BR Ambedkar, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah,” CM Yadav informed the media.

He said that he was visiting London to meet with investors when he was fortunate enough to visit Ambedkar’s home, where he studied for over two years.

“I am in London to meet with investors for the Global Investor Summit that will take place in Bhopal next year, and I am quite fortunate to have had the chance to see BR Ambedkar’s home, where he spent over two years studying. We have made a commitment today, and the government of Madhya Pradesh would also host events to raise awareness of the constitution’s principles among the state’s citizens. “I wish everyone the very best,” he said.

“CM extends greetings to the people of state as well as the people of the country on the occasion of Constitution Day,” the Chief Minister’s office said on X. The Indian government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is launching a drive to educate the public on all of the Constitution’s provisions.

The article went on to say that the Madhya Pradesh administration was planning a number of events to commemorate the state’s Constitution Day.

In the meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu of India unveiled a commemorative postage stamp at Samvidhan Sadan on Constitution Day to mark the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution, President Droupadi Murmu also unveiled two volumes on it at Samvidhan Sadan. Both “Making of the Constitution of India & its Glorious Journey” and “Making of the Constitution of India: A Glimpse” were published.

President Murmu also issued copies of the Constitution in Maithili and Sanskrit. Together with other notable personalities, President Droupadi Murmu delivered the Indian Constitution’s Preamble.

The occasion marks the 75th anniversary of the Constituent Assembly’s November 26, 1949, adoption of the Constitution. Officially, the Constitution went into force on January 26, 1950.
