Argentina is the third step in PM Narendra Modi five-nation tour
Buenos Aires: On the third stop on a five-nation visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Argentina. He touched down in Buenos Aires at the Ezeiza International Airport.

The president of the Republic of Argentina, Javier Milei, invited PM Modi to make an official visit to Argentina. In order to assess current collaboration and explore methods to strengthen the India-Argentina relationship in important sectors such as defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, trade and investment, and people-to-people contacts, PM Modi and President Milei are expected to have bilateral meetings.
In an earlier statement outlining the PM’s schedule, Indian Ambassador to Argentina Ajaneesh Kumar informed ANI that PM Modi will be welcomed by the Indian community in Buenos Aires upon his arrival in Argentina. The next day, PM Modi will honor Jose de San Martin, who is considered the Father of the Argentine Nation, in Buenos Aires’ Plaza de San Martin.
In addition, PM Modi will meet with Argentine President Javier Milei at the delegation level before visiting the renowned Boca Juniors Stadium to watch Argentine football.
“Late in the evening, the prime minister comes… The community will welcome him… The Prime Minister will honor and pay his respects to the father of the Argentine nation the following day. The Libertadores Plaza de San Martin is his popular name. This nation’s foreign minister would accompany him to the plaza. At the president’s office, Casa Rosada, he will then have an official delegation-level meeting. He will meet with Javier Milei, the president of Argentina. We have planned a brief visit for him at the Boca Juniors Stadium in the afternoon before he leaves so he may see the Argentine football,” Ajaneesh Kumar said.
Following Ghana and Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina is the third country on PM Modi’s five-nation trip. Namibia and Brazil for the 17th BRICS Summit will be the next stops.
