In 2027, the third movie will be released.

According to Deadline, John Krasinski, who previously managed to accomplish two things at once by writing and directing the first two movies, will take the helm once again.

Although the movie’s narrative has not yet been revealed, it is expected that the extraterrestrial-like beings with very keen hearing will come back to pursue people.

It’s unclear whether Millicent Simmonds, Emily Blunt, and Noah Jupe will make a comeback in the follow-up. Krasinski costarred with them in the first movie. Fans may rely on the franchise’s flashbacks, but Krasinski is unlikely to make a comeback after his character’s death.

The Abbott family—the husband (Krasinski), his pregnant wife (Blunt), his deaf daughter (Simmonds), and their young son (Jupe)—were introduced in the first movie. They struggle to live on the rural farmhouse that has been overtaken by the hideous beasts.

Following the husband’s death in Part II, the wife and kids left the home after eliminating one of the aliens.

Variety reports that the three films in the Quiet Place trilogy have made over $900 million globally.
‘A Quiet Place III’ is being produced by Platinum Dunes and Krasinski and Allyson Seeger’s Sunday Night Productions, per Deadline. It marks the actor-director’s comeback to the series after ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,’ the 2024 prequel.

The early phases of the alien apocalypse shown in the original movie were portrayed in the spin-off.

The release date of Part III is July 9, 2027.
