Pakistan Saudi Military Alliance: On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan inked a military pact that states that an assault on one would be deemed an attack on both. Importantly, ties between India and Pakistan are still tense at the moment of the deal.
During Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Riyadh, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Crown Prince welcomed him at Al-Yamamah Palace, where the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement was inked, according to Geo News.
Any assault against either nation would be deemed an attack on both, according to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office announcing the agreement’s signing, as reported by the ‘Dawn’ daily.

Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, Environment Minister Musadik Malik, Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar were with him.
