Following the repeal of Article 370 in 2019, this has been one of the most significant acts of terrorism. However, the government has not yet officially confirmed how many people were killed in the Pahalgam terror assault.

In order to cooperate on behalf of the Siddaramaiah administration, Karnataka Minister Santosh Lad travelled to Srinagar. Other state leaders and ministers were also on the pitch.

In order to guarantee the safe return of visitors from the valley, Air India has added two extra flights to Delhi and Mumbai, which are set to fly today, while the number of tourists outside the Srinagar airport also rises.

Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu discussed adding flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai. Along with keeping an eye on fares to avoid any spikes in this circumstance, the Minister is always evaluating the situation around the clock to satisfy any new needs. Four additional flights have been scheduled by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, two to Mumbai and two to Delhi. They are in contact with airlines to intensify their efforts in response to demand.

In light of the fatal assaults on visitors, the police administration has increased security by installing concertina wires. In order to do surveys and support the search efforts in Pahalgam, helicopters have been sent into the skies.

The nation has been rocked by the Pahalgam terrorist incident, particularly in the local community, which has demanded a closure.

“I condemn this attack,” said Gulzar Ahmad Wani, head of the Pahalgam Taxi Association. Not just visitors, but also our families and means of subsistence are involved. They are not seen as tourists by us. Our family members seem to have been murdered. I ask that the government look at this issue in detail. Pahalgam, which depends on tourism, has always been serene.

Markets in the Poonch region have been locked as the local business community protests and shows support for the victims. They were seen yelling catchphrases such as “Pakistan Haye Haye! and “Karo Dehshatgardi band!”

Preparations are in progress for the burial service at the home of Manjunath, a tourist who lost his life in the Pahalgam terrorist assault, in Shivamogga, Karnataka. The mortal remains are anticipated to reach the family’s home today.

“Manjunath is a relative,” said Madhav Murthy, his maternal uncle. He brought his family to Jammu and Kashmir since his kid got a perfect score of 98 percent in the second PU examinations. His lifeless remains are being brought by Shivamogga MP, MLA, and several others, including leaders of the RSS. About eight days ago, they embarked on a package tour. They were assaulted by terrorists when they were eating panipuri. They instructed his son and wife to “go and tell Modiji about this.” Losing someone to such assaults is not good.

Security personnel began search operations on Wednesday in an effort to find the culprits behind the terror assault. Since the incident, security has been increased; photos taken in the vicinity show the streets in the normally busy tourist area vacant. In the wake of the incident, several groups have also called for a jammu bandh.
Some visitors have also chosen to shorten their visits due to the sensitive environment in the region.

As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Delhi from Saudi Arabia, he met with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval, and other officials for a briefing.
