US Vice President JD Vance along with his family embarked on a cultural trip to Jaipur
Jaipur: On Tuesday, US Vice President JD Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance, and their kids began a cultural tour of Jaipur as part of their four-day trip to India. The Vance family arrived at the Amber Fort this morning from their lodging at the Rambagh Palace.

The Amber Fort in Jaipur welcomed the Vance family with great vigor and warmth. Elephants with exquisite decorations and a traditional Rajasthani dance performance welcomed them.
JD Vance and his family had been to the Central Cottage Industries Emporium in New Delhi the day before.
“The family really enjoyed it, and they appreciated our showroom,” Meera Somani, the showroom general manager, told ANI while visiting the Emporium. They bought teas, papier-mâché objects, and ceramics.
Shortly after their arrival on Monday morning, the US Vice President and his family also paid a visit to the Akshardham Temple in the nation’s capital.
Their daughter donned an Anarkali-style ensemble with an embroidered jacket, while their kids wore kurta-pyjamas.
The US Vice President spent around 55 minutes touring the temple, taking in its grandeur, and praying for global peace, according to Radhika Shukla, the temple’s spokeswoman.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister for Railways and Information & Broadcasting, greeted Vance and his family as they touched down at Palam Airport. Vance’s first official visit to India began when he was also presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honor.
On the first day of his visit to India, the US vice president referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “great leader” and said it was an “honor” to meet him.
Additionally, Vance thanked PM Modi for welcoming his family to his home in New Delhi and praised him for being “incredibly kind to my family.”
“It was an honor to see Prime Minister Modi this evening,” the US Vice President tweeted in response to PM Modi’s post on X. He is an excellent leader who showed my family a great deal of kindness.
Vance said that he was eager to further the two nations’ relationship and collaboration. “I look forward to working under President Trump’s leadership to strengthen our friendship and cooperation with the people of India!” “Oh,” Vance replied.
Following their discussion, PM Modi said that both countries are dedicated to cooperative efforts that would benefit both parties in a number of areas.
We are pleased to welcome JD Vance, the vice president of the United States, and his family to New Delhi. After I visited the United States and met with President Trump, we went over the rapid development. “We are dedicated to collaborating in areas that will benefit both parties, such as trade, technology, energy, defense, and interpersonal interactions,” PM Modi said on X.
Vance and his family are scheduled to go to Agra on Wednesday. At 6:40 a.m. on April 24, the US vice president departs India, bringing their tour of India to a close.
