Russian Foreign Ministry: Ukrainian attacks injured more than 100 civilians in Russian regions
Moscow: According to Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, Ukrainian attacks have killed four people and wounded over 100 civilians, including a toddler, in Russian territories in the previous week, according to TASS.

“Over the past week, 107 civilians have been affected by shelling – 103 people were injured, including one minor, and four people were killed,” Miroshnik said to TASS.
He stated that Ukrainian first-person view (FPV) drone assaults were responsible for the majority of the casualties.
According to TASS, the Belgorod and Kursk areas, as well as the Luhansk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye Region, saw the greatest number of civilian deaths.
According to CNN, Miroshnik also asserted that Ukrainian forces fired almost 1,800 munitions at civilian targets during that time, the majority of which were Western-made. These claims coincide with escalating tensions, including the breakdown of a planned prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine on Saturday because of unresolved disputes.
Ukraine denied that a date had been set for the exchange of detainees and the return of fallen servicemen, despite Russia’s accusations that Ukraine abruptly postponed the exchange.
Ukraine called Russia’s story “dirty games” and claimed that the delay resulted from an unconfirmed time arrangement.
Russia claims that more than 1,200 Ukrainian remains were stored at an exchange location in refrigerated trucks as they awaited the transfer.
CNN said that both nations have decided to try another prisoner swap at the next peace negotiations in Istanbul this weekend, despite the unsuccessful exchange.
Meanwhile, a report in the Ukrainian publication Kyiv Independent claims that early on June 10, a second large-scale Russian strike using ballistic missiles and drones struck Kyiv and Odesa. As air defense systems targeted the targets, explosions could be heard across the city.
Local officials in Kyiv said that four persons were hurt. Meanwhile, the incident in the southern city of Odesa resulted in the deaths of two individuals and the injuries of at least eight more. In Odesa, medical institutions suffered damage, including a maternity facility. Prior to this, the Air Force issued a warning about the possibility of drone and missile assaults.
Drone debris landed on the grounds of a school in the Obolonskyi neighborhood, while automobiles were burning in the Shevchenkivskyi area, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Medics were summoned to the districts of Podilskyi and Darnytskyi, and emergency services were sent to the assault locations.
