Uttar Pradesh: Man arrested in Shahjahanpur for throwing acid on his wife and two daughters
Shahjahanpur: According to police, a man was taken into custody on Sunday in the Uttar Pradesh district of Shahjahanpur for reportedly hurling acid at his wife and two kids.

Raising concerns about his wife’s suspected adulterous affair, the accused, Ram Gopal, beat his family members in the vicinity of the Nigohi police station, according to Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi.
“In Nigohi PS area, a man, namely Ram Gopal, threw acid on his wife and two daughters as he suspected his wife of having an extramarital affair,” Dwivedi informed the media report.
“His wife and one of the daughters suffered minor injuries, and the other daughter has suffered serious injuries,” he said. They are not in danger and are receiving care at the local hospital.
When the event happened, the police arrested Ram Gopal. The guy who supplied him the acid was also taken into custody by the authorities.
“Ram Gopal was arrested, and the man who sold him acid has also been arrested…” according to authorities.
In the past, Dilip Yadav was murdered in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, by contract assassins whom his wife and her boyfriend had hired. Police authorities claim that Dilip’s wife, Pragati, was seeing his lover, Anurag, who, at Pragati’s direction, orchestrated the whole murder. One guy and his assistant were already taken into custody by the police.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, two individuals on a motorbike turned their vehicle and attempted to flee from the police as they were inspecting a suspected car, according to Auraiya SP Abhijeet R Shankar. Both of the accused were hurt when they opened fire on the police officers, and they were taken to the hospital for further care.
“The Sahar police station team was inspecting the suspected car owner at Shahbazpur Bamba around 11:30 p.m. on the evening of March 27. Two males arrived on a motorbike without checking, and as soon as they saw the police, they turned the vehicle and attempted to flee,” Auraiya SP Abhijeet R Shankar said.
