Telangana minister Uttam Kumar Reddy hits out at KT Rama Rao over his recent “scam” remark
Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy criticized KT Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, for his recent “scamgress” comment.

After the Ghosh panel called former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, K.T. Rama Rao blasted the Revanth Reddy-led Telangana administration on Friday, saying that the state had devolved into “scamgress” under the Congress.
Uttam Kumar Reddy attacked KTR, claiming that the “thief is scolding the police.” Reddy said that KTR was engaged in “corruption” and that their incompetence was the reason the Kaleshwaram project failed.
After receiving notification from the investigation authorities, the Telangana minister said that BRS became anxious and began saying “ridiculous” things.
“KTR’s speech pattern is just absurd. The cops are being reprimanded by the thief. These individuals are deeply engaged in corruption; as a result of their ineptitude, the Kaleshwaram project failed. All parties concerned are now receiving notifications from the judicial commission we ordered. They were anxious and began saying some very absurd things as soon as they received the warning. Uttam Kumar Reddy said, “We are saying that if you have any information, go and tell the judicial commission. We will take legal action according to the judicial commission’s report.”
In the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP), the Justice PC Ghose Commission summoned BJP MP Etela Rajender, former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), and former Minister Harish Rao on Tuesday. Rajender was also a minister during the BRS regime.
The three political figures were ordered to appear for interrogation in the first week of June by the Commission, which has been looking into procedural and financial irregularities in the multi-crore irrigation project.
The sources claim that KCR was invited to appear before the Commission on June 5; Harish Rao was requested to do so on June 6; and Etela Rajender was asked to do so on June 9.
