Sufi Council President Syed Naseeruddin Chishti strongly condemns the cross-border terrorist attack in Pahalgam

Ajmer: The cross-border terror incident in Pahalgam was sharply denounced by Syed Naseruddin Chishty, Chairman of the All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council, who noted that “for the first time in 50 years, the people of Kashmir are openly chanting slogans against Pakistan.”

The Kashmiri people, he said, had once again come to the streets to “protest against Pakistan.”

During his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ speech on Sunday, Prime Minister Modi promised that the “harshest” retribution would be given to those responsible for the Pahalgam incident, and he made these comments in support of his claims.

“The people of Kashmir are deeply saddened by this terrorist act,” Chishty remarked in an interview with ANI. Grief weighs heavily on their hearts as well. These horrible crimes have disrupted the economy; people will lose their jobs, tourism will suffer, and the terrorists have effectively attempted to kick everyone in the stomach. People in Pakistan support the terrorists, but they should be aware that Kashmiris are publicly singing anti-Pakistan chants for the first time in fifty years. This is a significant development. Today, the entire nation stands united; this is the United India. We also aim to address the terrorists based in Pakistan.

PM Modi said, “The entire world stands with 140 crore Indians in our fight against terrorism” during the 121st edition of Mann ki Baat on Sunday. Once again, I assure the impacted families that they will receive justice. The strongest punishment will be meted out to the attackers and their collaborators.

People have “full faith in the Indian Armed Forces” and the administration, according to Chishty.

“We cannot comprehend the suffering of Prime Minister Modi.” All he wants is for the nation to be successful and happy. He wants to see the nation in a specific state, strong and developing, but this act was carried out by certain individuals with terroristic, nasty thoughts, and the whole country is upset about it. The terrorists’ despicable crime has angered the whole country. The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to upholding justice, despite the public’s desire for the government to exact retribution.

“Retaliation will be exacted, as the Prime Minister said in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ speech today. Justice will be done for the senseless deaths of innocent people. The relatives of the victims have received assurances from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that justice will be served and that the offenders will face the harshest penalties possible. We have complete trust in the Indian administration and the Indian armed forces. “The government has the support of the entire country,” Chishty said.

He went on to say that terrorists and their “masters” were trying to stop Kashmir from “integrating with the mainstream of India” after the repeal of Article 370.

“The Prime Minister made a big statement that peace was returning to Kashmir, but the enemies of the country and Jammu & Kashmir did not accept this,” he stated. The goal of terrorists and their leaders is to destroy Kashmir once again. This is a critical problem. Kashmir has been assimilating into India’s mainstream ever since Article 370 was repealed. The people of Kashmir desired prosperity, and they were developing together with India.

“Kashmir was developing; people were finding work, firms were entering, and tourism was rising. Tourists continue to visit the region. However, those terrorists and their masters in Pakistan, a different nation, could not tolerate these advances. Therefore, this was a plot designed to obstruct Kashmir’s progress. It was a plot to stop the Kashmiri people’s advancement,” he said.

Chishty criticized Pakistan’s political and military bluster in response to threats from across the border, stating that their ministers “should ensure their weapons are even functional.”

“India should be prepared for conflict if water is cut off, according to threats made by Pakistan’s Railway Minister and others. They mention having 130 nuclear bombs and missiles like Ghauri and Ghaznavi. Since their weapons have never been effective in a genuine situation, their ministries and army should first make sure they are even operational.

They should also remember that India has twice as many weapons, and they are not only for show. They will get a fierce and equal reaction in the event of war—and they won’t even be able to utilize their antiquated, rusted weaponry. The people making threats are idiots.

Chishty made a bold declaration on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), saying that India “will celebrate both Eid and Diwali” in the region. He also expressed hope and faith in India’s future.

India has taken harsh action against Pakistan for encouraging cross-border terrorism in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam terror assault, which claimed the lives of 26 people, including a Nepali citizen.
According to the authorities, the terrorists who carried out the assault and those who planned it would be severely punished.
