PM Narendra Modi expressed grief over the deaths in Solapur fire incident, announced ex-gratia to the families of the deceased

Solapur: At least eight individuals lost their lives in the Solapur fire tragedy, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his sorrow over the deaths. Additionally, the prime minister said that each dead person’s next of kin will get Rs 2 lakh in ex-gratia compensation.

We are saddened by the deaths brought on by a fire disaster in Solapur, Maharashtra. To those who have lost a loved one, my condolences. I hope the wounded get well fast. Each dead person’s next of kin will get an ex gratia payment of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF. PMO said on X that the wounded will get Rs. 50,000.

Early on Sunday morning, the fire had started.

Firefighters were sent to the scene right away. To put out the fire, eleven fire engines were sent to the scene.

“This rescue effort has also resulted in injuries to fire department members. According to Fire Officer Rakesh Salunke, it took 17 hours to put out the fire.

At least 17 people were killed in another incident that occurred in Hyderabad, Telangana, on Sunday. The fire started at a building at the Gulzar House, which is close to Charminar.

Jishnu Dev Varma, the governor of Telangana, has expressed sorrow over the terrible fire disaster that killed 17 persons, including eight children, at Gulzar Houz, close to Charminar in Hyderabad.

In a statement released by Raj Bhavan on Sunday, the governor expressed his deepest sympathies to the families of those killed in the event and wished the wounded a quick recovery. Varma prayed for the accident victims to recover quickly.
