People got relief from humidity after rain in many areas of Mumbai

Mumbai: Rainfall fell in several Mumbai locations on Saturday morning, providing people a much-needed respite from the city’s oppressive humidity. A partly overcast sky with the potential for light showers throughout the day is the prediction from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD predicts that the city will have mild to moderate rainfall. Over the last several days, pre-monsoon rains have been falling in Mumbai.

Over the following five days, the IMD has forecast further thunderstorms and rains in a number of the nation’s regions.

IMD scientist Akhil Srivastava told the media report on Friday that during the next five days, southern India—particularly the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka—will have heavy rains, thunderstorms, and windy conditions. Central India is predicted to have similar weather conditions.

Srivastava predicted that portions of Northwestern India will likely see hot temperatures and thunderstorm activity in the next days, adding that “the Northeastern parts of the country will also continue to receive rainfall for the next five days.”

The weather in eastern India is expected to be hot and muggy, particularly in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh. The national capital’s citizens could, however, see some respite from the heat.

“Over Delhi, thunderstorm activity is predicted to build this evening and tomorrow. The temperature may drop to between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius as a result of the anticipated light rains, according to Srivastava.

Concerns about heat waves in a number of northern states are growing as a result of the shifting weather patterns.

Meanwhile, more individuals are being brought to hospitals in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, as a result of increasing temperatures.

Children who have been hospitalized in hospitals have been afflicted with typhoid, fever, loose motion, cold, and cough, according to Senior Consultant Medical V. Singh.

“Summers have started, and at this time, children suffer from typhoid, fever, loose motion, and cold and cough,” Singh said to the media report. Additionally, he cautioned against eating meals outdoors.

Since the food from outside is tainted, we advise against eating it since some individuals combine unhealthy ingredients. Twenty-five to thirty youngsters are being admitted, and around 200 patients are coming in,” he said.
