Pahalgam terror attack victims demand justice
Anantnag: A terrorist strike on Tuesday rocked the sleepy, charming town of Pahalgam, killing a number of innocent people, including Syed Adil Hussain Shah, a horseback rider and his family’s only provider. His family is in grief after his untimely death, finding it difficult to deal with the loss, and requesting justice for the innocent man’s passing.
“My son was the only one who earned for our family,” Syed Haider Shah, the father of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, told ANI. We learned about the assault at around 3 PM yesterday after he left for work in Pahalgam. His phone was off when we phoned him. His phone rang at 4:30 PM, but nobody picked it up. We found out that he had been hurt in the assault when we hurried to the police station. The only provider for our family, my son, was slain. Justice for his death is what we desire. He was a guy without guilt. For what reason was he killed? The repercussions must be borne by the guilty party.
“He was the only support we had,” Shah’s mother recalled, her voice shaken by tears as she spoke about the irreparable loss of her son. He used to make money for the family by riding horses. We have no one else to support us at this time. Without him, we’re not sure what we’ll do.
According to Shaheed Bug Singh, Shah’s uncle, Adil, was the family’s oldest son. He was the pillar of this household, with a wife and kids. They’ve lost everything now. They have no one to turn to because of this catastrophe, and they are impoverished. We want assistance from the government. More than ever, Adil’s family needs to be protected and supported.
“We are from this area, and we feel the pain of this loss deeply,” said Mohiddin Shah, a relative of Ghulam and Shah. Adil’s family was impoverished, and they now have no assistance after his death. Our Kashmiriyat is tarnished by this. In order to prevent similar tragedies from happening to innocent persons like Adil, we urge the authorities to look into this assault. Justice must be served for his family.
As they deal with this immense loss and uncertainty, the family is now requesting assistance from the government. The Shah family demands responsibility for all the innocent lives impacted by the vicious terror that still exists in their area, not just for their son’s death.
