The BJP MP said that food, water, and hookah would be denied to them (Pakistan) and that Sanatani BJP members would torture them to death before killing them in a post on X.

“Modi ji has halted the food and water today. Nehru ji, the hero of the deal to provide water to the snake, bled the blood of Indians by providing them water from the Indus, Ravi, Beas, Chenab, and Sutlej in order to win the Nobel Prize in 1960. Without water, Pakistanis would perish. This is the 56-inch chest. We are Sanatani BJP employees, and we will murder them after torturing them. Hookah, drinks, food, and water will all be halted,” he said.

The Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 would be put on hold, and the integrated checkpost at Attari will be shuttered immediately, India stated on April 23 as part of a series of measures to send a clear message to Pakistan for its support of cross-border terrorism.

Following a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri told a special news conference that Pakistani people will not be allowed to enter India under the SAARC visa exemption program.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the two-hour-long CCS meeting.

The Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi has designated its defense, military, naval, and air advisors persona non grata, and they have one week to depart India.

He said that by May 1, 2025, more cuts would be made to bring the total number of High Commissions down from the current 55 to 30.

The following actions were taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) in recognition of the gravity of this terrorist attack: With immediate effect, the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty would be suspended until Pakistan renounces its support for cross-border terrorism in a credible and irreversible manner. Attari, the integrated checkpoint, will be shut down immediately. Before May 1, 2025, those who have crossed across with legitimate endorsements may do it again, according to Misri.

“The SAARC visa exemption program will not allow Pakistani nationals to enter India. Any previous SPES visas granted to citizens of Pakistan are considered revoked. Pakistani nationals who are in India on a SPES visa have 48 hours to depart the country. Persona non grata is the declaration made for the Defense, Military, Naval, and Air Advisors at the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi. They may leave India in a week,” he said.

He said that India will be removing its own advisers in the areas of defense, navy, and aviation from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. “These posts in the respective High Commissions are deemed annulled,” Misri said.

According to Misri, the CCS ordered all troops to maintain a high level of vigil after reviewing the overall security situation. It decided that the attack’s perpetrators would face consequences and their sponsors would be held accountable.

“As with the recent extradition of Tahawwur Rana, India will be unrelenting in the pursuit of those who have committed acts of terror or conspired to make them possible,” he said.

According to Misri, the cross-border connections of the terrorist act were highlighted in the briefing given to the CCS.

Terrorists carried out one of the bloodiest attacks in the Valley since the 2019 Pulwama incident, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans, at Baisaran Meadow in Pahalgam on Tuesday.
