Nishikant Dubey: Ajay Rai is trying to “break the morale of the Indian Army” by protesting against PM Narendra Modi
New Delhi: Nishikant Dubey, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, criticized Modi for accusations of “big talk and no action” made against the Central government by Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai in the wake of the Pahalgam terror assault.

Rai, according to Dubey, is attempting to “break the morale of the Indian army” to express disapproval of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a jab at the Congress, Dubey referred to Rai as the “UP President of the pro-Pakistan Congress Party.”
“Look at Ajay Rai, UP President of the pro-Pakistan Congress Party, who is making headlines in Pakistani newspapers and channels, and understand the conspiracy of the Congress Party to break the morale of the army in protest against Modi,” Dubey said in a post on X.

Rafale jets are unused and stored in hangars with “nimbu mirchi” (lemons and chilies) hanging on them. Rai criticized the central government on May 4 for not doing enough to punish the terrorists of the Pahalgam attack. Dubey’s remarks are a response to Rai’s criticism. ‘Rafale’ was written on a toy aircraft that Rai was holding, with lemon and chilies dangling from it, in a photo that Dubey had shared.
“Terrorist activities have increased in the country, and people are suffering from it,” the president of the UP Congress had previously said. The terror assault in Pahalgam claimed the lives of our young people. However, this talkative administration claims to be going after terrorists; they brought Rafale, but they remain in their hangars with a lemon hanging in them and a frigid air. When will they act against terrorists, their supporters, and those who encourage them?
The BJP has strongly reacted to Rai’s statements, with many leaders denouncing them and charging him with backing Pakistan.
The Congress party would formally disseminate propaganda of the Pakistani Terror Deep State as soon as Pakistani propaganda is outlawed in India, according to BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari.
“The Congress party has turned into an official spokesperson of the Pakistani Terror Deep State,” Bhandari had said. Every time Rahul Gandhi takes the stage, he fully supports PM Narendra Modi’s government, which acts against the Pakistani Terror Deep State. Within a day, however, another Congress politician appears and talks in favor of Pakistan.
