Lucknow: Five people, including two children died in a fire in a double decker bus

Lucknow: According to an official, a double-decker bus on Kisaan Path in Lucknow caught fire early Thursday morning, killing five persons, including two children.

When it happened, the bus was on its way from Bihar to Delhi. Images reveal the dispatch of firefighters to extinguish the fire.

In an interview with the media, Deputy Commissioner of Police Nipun Agarwal said that a suspected short circuit caused a private sleeper bus traveling from Begusarai, Bihar, to Delhi to catch fire.

Between sixty and seventy people were on board. He said, “Many of them were successfully saved. He stated that the tragedy tragically claimed the lives of five persons, including two ladies, one guy, and two children.
