CM Yogi had earlier on Thursday ordered authorities to move quickly to provide aid in districts hit by hail, rain, and storms.

He ordered the wounded to get appropriate medical care and emphasized the prompt payment of compensation in situations involving human or cattle fatalities.

“Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officers of the concerned districts to conduct relief work with full promptness in view of the storm, rain and hailstorm,” the office of the chief minister said on X.

Additionally, he gave authorities instructions to go to the impacted regions, evaluate the damage, and keep an eye on relief operations there.

Additionally, relief funds should be given to the impacted individuals right away in the event that lightning, storms, or rain cause fatalities or the loss of animals. It also said that the wounded must get the appropriate care.

In order to lessen the effects of waterlogging brought on by bad weather, CM also instructed authorities to give drainage plans first priority.

“In order to take further action in this respect, the Chief Minister has directed the officials to carry out a survey, evaluate the crop loss, and submit a report to the government. Drainage plans should be prioritized in the event of waterlogging,” it said.
