On its Instagram account, Prime Video posted a little video with the movie’s actors urging viewers to watch it on the over-the-top service. According to the caption, “A houseful of people have something to say.”
A big ensemble cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Jackie Shroff, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangad Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, and Soundarya Sharma, joined Akshay Kumar in the comedy Housefull 5.
Housefull 5 reception and box office
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie debuted in theaters throughout the globe on June 6 and went on to gross over ₹300 crore globally and beyond ₹200 crore at the domestic box office.
The two sections of the murder mystery comedy Housefull 5—Housefull 5 A and Housefull 5 B—were published. Both movies started the same way, but they ended differently, with each conclusion revealing a different murderer. During the film’s advertising, the creators said that they had been wanting to develop such an idea for many years.
The movie was criticized, nonetheless, for how it portrayed the female characters and for some of its crude gags. Many viewers expressed dissatisfaction about Housefull 5’s excessively sexualized portrayal of the ladies and its unmistakably masculine gaze, which was unusual for a family movie.
