“More of that will be done,” said Vijay Sharma” We’re going to do more to combat illegal immigration. We’ll take even more aggressive action. We’ll take organized action. I would want to advise everyone residing in Chhattisgarh who is from outside to come to the police and explain themselves. If not, they are free to go.
Arun Sao, the deputy chief minister of Chhattisgarh, had earlier claimed that the government was taking tough measures against illegal residents because they were creating problems with peace and order in Raipur.

“Illegal residents are creating law and order issues in the city (Raipur),” Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao told the media report. Both the city’s citizens and the state of law and order are at risk because of it. The government has decided to take significant action against those who are residing unlawfully since these individuals lack identification and their locations are unknown.

Arun Sao made fun of the Congress party by saying, “The Congress always connects everything to elections, even though action against Bangladeshis and Rohingyas has been ongoing for a long time. The action is for the protection of the state’s and the city’s residents.”

In the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Lakhan Patle, the Chhattisgarh Police began a huge verification effort in January of this year to identify illegal migrants from neighboring states.

“We were receiving information from various Police Stations that people from other states have been living here and working,” Raipur ASP Lakhan Patle told the media report. The police didn’t know any of these people, and their landlords didn’t tell them who they were. Our staff conducted a survey and reconnaissance before bringing all of the suspects in for confirmation.

“Those deemed suspect will face consequences. The city’s crime rate will drop as a result. An inquiry will be conducted if we discover a forged Aadhar card throughout the procedure, and appropriate action will be taken if it turns out that the individual is not of the same nationality. The ASP reported the transportation of over 2,056 individuals to this location.
