Along with other notable ministers from the Mahayuti administration, Eknath Shinde, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, and Ajit Pawar, the leader of the National Congress Party, were also in attendance.

According to Shinde, the Maharashtra administration will gain from Bhujbal’s prior experience as a minister. He said that CM Fadnavis will choose the experienced leader’s portfolio. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Bhujbal was a Shiv Sainik of Bal Thackeray and began his political career with the Shiv Sena.

“Chhagan Bhujbal has also had a ministerial position. He has served as a department head. He is a pastor with experience. He is also a Balasaheb Thackeray Shiv Sainik. He began with the Shiv Sena. After serving as a corporator and mayor, he later became an MLA and a minister. He’s had a lot of jobs. He took the oath once again today. He deserves my congratulations. The government will gain from his expertise. The Chief Minister will choose the portfolio,” Shinde informed the media outlet.

Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the State BJP Chief and a Maharashtra Minister, had earlier praised Bhujbal’s appointment to the State cabinet.

Bawankule told reporters, “The Maharashtra administration would be strengthened by having NCP politician Chhagan Bhujbal in the cabinet since he is renowned as an OBC leader. For ‘Viksit Maharashtra’ to succeed, Chhagan Bhujbal will be crucial.

Bhujbal, the Nashik district’s Yeola MLA, has previously held important cabinet roles and functioned as the deputy chief minister in many Maharashtra administrations. From 1999 until 2003, he was Maharashtra’s sixth Deputy Chief Minister.

In the 1960s, when the regional movement supporting the rights of Marathi speakers was at its height, Bhujbal began his political career with the Shiv Sena.
