Aditya Thackeray launches scathing attack on BJP-led Maharashtra government, says monsoon has begun

Mumbai: The BJP-led Maharashtra government has come under heavy fire from Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, who claims that while the monsoon has arrived, corruption has taken place and that no work has been done on roads or drains.

“Monsoon has begun, but whether it’s roadworks or drain cleaning, nothing has been done–only corruption has taken place,” Thackeray remarked, criticizing the Maharashtra government for its inadequate monsoon preparation. Only a torrent of corruption has flooded the coffers of this dishonest administration.

Following India’s ranking as the world’s fourth-largest economy, he again made fun of the Center. Although the nation’s economy is expanding, which is encouraging, he added, the government must make sure that this expansion also raises people’s incomes and employment.

Aaditya Thackeray told reporters, “While our economy’s growth is positive, people’s incomes and employment should also increase in tandem. The happiness of the populace should rise in tandem with that.
He continued by saying that unemployment and inflation are still two of the nation’s primary issues and questioned how seriously the administration is taking them.

This is due to the fact that unemployment and inflation are now the nation’s two main challenges, and it is difficult to determine if the government is taking these matters seriously. This is because “bhajiya talo” (fried pakoras) is what the government says when you question them about this and what has to be done,” he said.

Following the Pahalgam terror assault, Thackeray offered his support to the government’s Operation Sindoor worldwide outreach campaign, which aims to expose terrorists rooted in Pakistan. He said that India’s security, unity, and integrity are crucial.

National security must always come before politics, Aaditya Thackeray said, adding, “We are ready to lay down our lives for the country.”

“Union Minister Kiren Rijiju personally reached out to Uddhav Thackeray to explain the initiative,” Aaditya Thackeray stated in reference to the group of Indian MPs traveling to several countries as part of Operation Sindoor. At first, we wondered whether it was for political reasons. However, Rijiju reassured us that it was for the country’s benefit.

“We are prepared to sacrifice our lives for the nation,” Thackeray said. India’s integrity, unity, and security are of the highest significance.

“We want to make it clear to the world that Pakistan-based terrorists orchestrated the Pahalgam terror attack,” he stated, emphasizing the goal of the worldwide outreach. To resist such terrorism, the international community must unite.

He said, “We will continue to question the government about the whereabouts of the terrorists,” while reaffirming the role of the opposition in the nation. But we stand together as one country in front of the world. On this front, politics will not be practiced.
