UP police gave this sensational statement on Sonam Raghuvanshi’s case, the matter is very serious

Ghazipur: A terrifying murder case involving a wedding couple has emerged from what started as a missing persons inquiry in Meghalaya. Investigators and the public are in disbelief at Sonam Raghuvanshi’s arrest for the suspected murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, on their honeymoon.

When Raja’s corpse was found in a steep canyon on June 2, the case took a dark turn when the couple was reported missing on May 23. After then, authorities began looking for Sonam, who had disappeared.

An Unexpected Giving Up and Cold Claims

Sonam hanged herself in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, about a week after her husband’s corpse was discovered, or so it first seemed. There was an additional element of curiosity when she reappeared.

Amitabh Yash, Additional Director General (Law and Order), Uttar Pradesh Police, disclosed to Midia that Sonam was trying to portray herself as a victim and that she had been “drugged and brought to Ghazipur.”

Sonam attempted to present herself as a victim, saying she had been drugged and taken against her will to Ghazipur, according to Yash. He went on to say that she purposefully told her relatives where she was, expecting the police to find her soon.

He claims that Sonam called her family at approximately three in the morning on Monday to report that she was at a wayside restaurant on the Ghazipur-Varanasi route. The Madhya Pradesh Police were subsequently notified by her family, and they worked with the local government. Sonam was arrested, brought to a One-Stop Center, and then transferred for a medical check. Meghalaya police are now questioning her as they monitor the court case.

Plot for Murder and Alleged Affair

Meghalaya detectives claim that Sonam had an extramarital romance with Raj Kushwaha, which may have been the reason for Raja’s death. She allegedly conspired in the murder alongside Kushwaha, according to the authorities, and gave herself up on June 8 under increasing pressure.

After the events, Sonam and Raj Kushwaha were both taken into custody

According to the senior UP officer, Sonam was a bad strategist who didn’t know how the police worked and believed she could get away by feigning victimization, but her plan didn’t work out.

Numerous questions remain, and the matter is still being investigated. One thing is certain, though: what started out as a lovely vacation has now evolved into one of the year’s most unsettling criminal tales.
