“It was a sad incident,” Samal told the media report, adding that the 140 crore people in the nation agreed with what our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, stated. The terrorist’s attempt to halt the advancement of our nation will fail. We denounce this act. The goal of our administration is to eradicate all types of terrorism.

As people, students, and political organizations denounce the assault, protests have been held all around the nation. Students from the Government Degree College for Women in Anantnag protested the assault by marching across the town.

One kid who took part said, “We strongly oppose this horrific conduct. We only want to state that, as regular Kashmiris, we support and will continue to support peace, and that terrorism is not religiously specific. We strongly condemn the assault. We sincerely apologize, but this is not representative of Kashmir. This is not who we are.

People gathered in Chandigarh to protest against the tragedy, demanding justice while brandishing banners. A candlelight march was held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, in remembrance of the Pahalgam terror attack victims.

Candles were lit in remembrance of the dead at a similar march organized by the Khan Market Trade Association in Delhi.

BJP officials and members took part in a candlelight march in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. VD Sharma, the state party president and BJP MP, was also present.

“Today, the entire Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and nation have taken to the streets to protest terrorism,” he remarked. No terrorist will escape unpunished. We are proceeding with the resolution today to eradicate this kind of terrorism in the nation.”

Twenty-five Indians and one Nepali were killed in the assault, which targeted tourists in the Baisaran meadow near Pahalgam. Several more were wounded. It is regarded as one of the worst terror strikes in the area after the repeal of Article 370 in 2019 and one of the deadliest since the Pulwama bombing in 2019, which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF members.
