Congress put up flags and banners on the highway for Bharat Jodo Yatra, Kerala High Court reprimanded
The discussion of Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra is going on continuously. Politics is also happening on this. Now the Kerala High Court has reprimanded a matter related to this. In fact, the court has objected to the boards, flags, and banners for the India Jodo Yatra. On Thursday, the court said regarding road safety that the officers and police have closed their eyes.
A hearing was held in the Kerala High Court regarding the issue of illegal flags, banners, and boards on the roads. A single bench of Justice Devan Ramachandran was hearing the matter on the matter. The court said, "Things have been illegally established by a particular political party on the National Highway from Trivandrum to Thrissur and beyond." The police and other officials are aware of this, but they have decided to keep their eyes closed.
The matter related to the journey from the side of the amicus curiae was placed before the court. The court was informed, 'A particular party has illegally put up a large number of boards, banners, flags, and other things during the rally in Kerala.'
Illegally installed vehicles are a danger to the drivers
The court said, 'These illegally placed things are a danger to the drivers, as they will get distracted while going on the highway. At the same time, some of these things are in danger of loosening and causing destruction on a large scale. The court specifically mentioned the danger posed to two-wheelers. The court says that the ability of local government entities or other relevant authorities to dispose of such items and handle the waste generated is also a problem. Why are government officials not aware of these issues? Especially when our state cannot take climate or weather lightly.
Political parties involved in illegal activities
The court said that the main political parties are seen to be involved in such illegal activities. The thoughtless steps taken on the part of some people and the apathy of the officials cannot stop this court from taking the oath to make Kerala a safe place. At present, the court has adjourned the hearing on the matter till Friday.
